DESCRIPTION OF THE MBROS, INC. ORGANIZATION

Mbros, Inc. was formed to serve the Yanceyville, North Carolina community.   Mbros, Inc. completing construction of a basketball court and park in order to provide safe outdoor activities as a community service for children and families in Yanceyville, NC.

 

Mbros is an acronym for “Mario Brothers” and the idea to build “Mbros Mystical Park “was born in the Spring of 2006 while its CEO, Mario Steadman, was in Yanceyville attending his younger brother’s (Marcello) wake/funeral at Fulton’s Funeral Home.   While at the funeral home praying by himself on the porch,  Mario had a vision of children and families playing basketball and sharing activities in a park on the vacant property that was located across the street.  Mario has a deep connection to the Yanceyville community as his maternal grandparents, mother and many aunts (The Badgett Sisters), uncles and cousins were born and raised in Yanceyville.  Mario and Marcello were also known as MBros who sang and performed in the Washington, DC and N.C. area. Determined to make his vision a reality, Mario (DJ Mario) took the last of his savings and resources and bought land on Main Street which is located in the heart of Yanceyville.  Subsequent to purchasing the land on Main Street, Mario formed a nonprofit organization, namely Mbros, Inc., and donated the land to the organization.  He then set out on a mission to build “Mbros Mystical Park “.

 



 

Through this effort, “Mbros Mystical Park “ will mobilize and energize individuals, families and the community as a whole, to join together.  Mbros, Inc. will improve the quality of life for Yanceyville residents by providing a safe environment for children and families and individuals to gather for recreation.



 

Mbros Inc. is strongly committed to providing a safe, clean recreational outlet for families, individuals and children who reside in the Yanceyville Community.   We believe that through building a basketball court and recreational area, we will be providing a much-needed service and we will, therefore, improve the community.
